Fitsteps FAB: Fitsteps For All Bodies, ‘FAB’, is a dance fitness workout designed for people who love to dance, want to keep fit, but for a variety of reasons, prefer a lighter intensity, lower impact and perhaps a slower pace. No partner required.
Keep fit over 60s: Gentle exercise class for the over 60s. This class includes full-body warm up, stretches and dance routines to your favourite musics. The warm-up is chair-based.
Fitsteps Extreme: Fitsteps is an energetic, upbeat dance fitness class featuring all of your favourite strictly dances. It is designed to give real, measurable fitness results. It is suitable for all ages and abilities and you don’t need a partner. No partner required.
Cardio Dance Fitness: Challenge every muscle in your body and burn major calories in just 45 minutes. No time to rest… This class will sure have your heart going… Simple steps, simple routines just non-stop… Fun class for all ages and abilities…

DO I NEED A PARTNER?
No, each routine is danced all together as a group, without the need for partners. However, classes can be even more fun if you bring a friend or two!
CAN MEN JOIN IN?
Yes, Fitsteps is for everyone.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear what you feel comfortable in, like aerobic gym clothing - bear in mind that you may get hot! Comfortable footwear is essential, such as dance or sports trainers.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
My classes are for anyone over the age of 18.
There is no upper age limit, there are people in their 60s, 70s, and 80s who take part regularly.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
A drink, a small towel perhaps, enthusiasm and a smile!
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?
As Fitsteps is a group exercise class everyone is invited to work to their own ability. You put as much into it that you want to get out of it. We're all individuals, understandably with various issues, i.e. dodgy knees, hips, shoulders maybe!
However the class is formed as interval training i.e. We may do a Quickstep for cardio and fat burning, but then follow it with a Waltz incorporating toning and posture.
DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO DANCE?
No. All the classes are suitable for everyone from complete beginners through to experts.
We will learn the steps together and then incorporate them into dance exercise routines.
Everyone is very welcome even if you do think you have two left feet!
WHAT IF I CAN'T FOLLOW THE STEPS?
Fitsteps is based around repetition of steps, don’t worry if you can’t follow all the steps straight away. Coming along regularly will help you pick the steps up and you’ll soon find it gets easier. Just follow me, have fun, and keep moving. If you are moving, you are working!
